The Reflective hoodie: how the reflective print works
The Reflective hoodie is the one people ask about at every meetup. In daylight it's a heavyweight black hoodie with a bold winged Onewheelers print on the back. At night, when headlights hit it, the print lights up. Here's how it works and how to keep it that way.
How does a reflective print work?
A reflective print sends light back in the direction it came from. That's why it looks like a normal print in daylight, and lights up when car headlights, a torch or a camera flash shine on it. The brighter the light behind the viewer, the more it stands out.
Good to know: reflective details help you get noticed, but a hoodie is not high-visibility or protective gear. On the bike, wear certified protective clothing.
What's in the hoodie
- Heavyweight 350 GSM fabric: 70% cotton, 30% polyester
- Oversized, boxy fit that layers easily over your riding gear
- Zip pockets, so your keys and phone stay put
- Reflective print on the back that stands out in the dark
How to keep the print looking good
- Wash cold, inside out, with similar colours
- Don't iron on the print
- Don't put it in the dryer
Which size?
The Reflective hoodie fits one size larger than the Go Fast hoodie. If you wear a large in the Go Fast V2, take a medium in the Reflective. The size chart on the product page shows the exact measurements in cm, with a photo of how we measure. Doesn't fit? You have 30 days to return it.
